National Night Out (NNO) is an annual community-building event that promotes partnerships between law enforcement agencies and the community they serve. Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out nationwide on the first Tuesday in August (with certain areas celebrating on the first Tuesday in October). Many neighborhoods host community events including but not limited to block parties, festivals, or cookouts where first responders visit and participate. National Night Out creates a positive environment for local police and neighbors to interact and create positive relationships.
NNO allows us to:
- Come together as a community
- Meet and mingle with local law enforcement and fellow neighbors
- Strengthen partnerships that keep our neighborhood a safe and inviting place to live
