What is Neighborhood Watch?
Neighborhood Watch was created to encourage and empower neighbors to work together to keep their community safe. This includes meeting regularly to develop teamwork and alliances between residents, discuss and equip one another with information regarding crime, and building partnerships with the Walnut Creek Police Department to ensure there are open lines of communication and resources to navigate crime.
A Neighborhood Watch program is one of the most successful ways to deter crime and increase public safety in your community. By working with your neighbors, alongside law enforcement we can spearhead crime in an organized and collaborative approach.
Knowing your neighbors and being on the lookout for one another can greatly help to prevent crime in the neighborhood. Neighbors working together in cooperation with law enforcement make one of the best teams around. As a reminder, please do not engage in any active crimes, please call 911 or our non-emergency number 925-943-5844.

Their responsibilities include but are not limited to organizing meetings, maintaining a current and accurate member roster, and distribute resources to the group.- Contact your neighbors, collect interest, and create a Neighborhood Watch Group
