E-bikes 

Electric bikes (e-bikes) are becoming more popular every year. To ride safely, it’s important to understand how they work and the rules that apply.

In California, there are three types of e-bikes, and all of them must follow the same rules of the road as regular bicycles. Every e-bike should have a label from the manufacturer that shows its class, maximum assisted speed, and motor power.
