Safety for older adults and at-risk people (Project Lifesaver)
Project Lifesaver helps to keep older adults and at-risk people safe. It is a community based, public safety, non-profit organization. Project Lifesaver helps law enforcement, fire/rescue, and caregivers locate individuals with cognitive disorders who are prone to wandering.
95% of Project Lifesaver participants who go missing are located in less than 30 minutes.

- Immediately call 911 if a Project Lifesaver participant goes missing
Cost

The cost to participate covers the cost of the equipment for the program participant. No funding goes to Project Lifesaver or the Walnut Creek Police Department.
